VinFast Teams with Autobrains and NVIDIA to Develop Level‑4 Autonomous Driving for Southeast Asia

Vietnamese EV maker VinFast announced a strategic partnership to advance autonomous vehicle technology. The collaboration brings together Autobrains, a specialist in self‑driving software, and NVIDIA, a leader in AI hardware. Together they will target Level 4 (high‑automation) capabilities for vehicles operating in Southeast Asian markets. Autobrains will provide the core perception and decision‑making stack for the autonomous system. NVIDIA will supply its DRIVE platform and GPU processors to handle the required compute load. The joint effort aims to accelerate VinFast’s rollout of driver‑less models in the region. Industry observers see the move as a bid to catch up with global competitors in autonomous tech.
