U.S. Relocates Deportees to Equatorial Guinea After Liberia Arrival Resistance

Five individuals recently faced a significant travel diversion during a deportation process. They were part of a group flown to Liberia under a specific deportation program. The program in question was established during the Trump administration. It involves sending deportees to third countries rather than their home nations. Upon arrival in Liberia, five of the passengers strongly resisted leaving the plane. Because of this resistance, the decision was made to alter their destination. The aircraft subsequently departed Liberia with the individuals still on board. They were then flown onward to Equatorial Guinea as the new destination.
