Samsung, the South Korean electronics giant, is testing a mechanical variable opening system. The tests are being conducted on the Galaxy S27 Ultra smartphone. Samsung is also applying the system to an upcoming foldable device. The development was reported by Mix Vale. The variable opening mechanism aims to improve device durability and user experience.
