Rescuer restores 7,234 vintage GIFs

A personal project focused on archiving animated images. The creator located over seven thousand GIFs that were at risk of loss. Each file was examined and restored to a usable state. The effort involved organizing the GIFs into a coherent collection. Rescued files span a range of themes and animation styles. The project highlights the value of preserving internet artifacts. The restored GIFs are now available for sharing or reuse. The archivist plans to continue maintaining the collection.
