HKUST and CalmCar Launch Physical AI Innovation Center

Hong Kong University of Science and Technology partnered with CalmCar. Together they established a physical AI Innovation Center. The center will focus on research and development of AI technologies. It aims to bridge academic insights with industry applications. CalmCar plans to leverage the facility for autonomous vehicle projects. HKUST expects the hub to foster student and faculty collaborations. The initiative reflects growing interest in AI‑driven mobility solutions. The center is set to open later this year for joint experimentation.
